Ingredients of Chicken Tinola

  1. You need 1 of whole chicken cut into serving pieces.
  2. Prepare 36 oz of chicken broth or rice eashing.
  3. It's 2 of chayote cut into wedges.
  4. You need 2 cup of spinach.
  5. It's 5 cloves of garlic minced.
  6. It's 1 of medium onion chopped.
  7. You need 1 of thumb ginger, cut into strips.
  8. You need 2 tbsp of fish sauce.

Chicken Tinola instructions

  1. Take a pot and sauté garlic, onion and ginger.
  2. Add chicken and cook until color turns brown on both sides.
  3. Add fish sauce and mix for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour chicken broth or rice washing and bring to boil then simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Add chayote and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add spinach and salt and pepper for taste as necessary.
  7. Serve hot by itself or with white steamed rice. Enjoy!.
